Recommended Hotels
For fans of the 1st and 2nd Doctor who prioritize luxury, Claridge’s, Maybourne offers luxury, a spa, and the beauty of an old London hotel. It became famous during the 1920’s (the same era the famous blue police box went into service) and is just gorgeous.
For fans of the 4th, 5th, and 6th Doctor – The Hoxton Shepherds Bush is the perfect groovy vibes in West London. 70’s inspired decor and cozy rooms make it perfect for a solo traveler who keeps a celery stalk in their breast pocket.
For fans of 13 and 15 – I cannot get over the color of The Dixon (Autograph Collection). It’s bright, it’s vibrant, it’s lovely. And! They allow pets. Combine that with how central it is to everything you might want to see in London, and it’s really a needed addition to your travel bucket list.
For fans of 9, 10, and 11, or people who want guaranteed 5 star accessibility, you want the Londoner. No really, look it up. It’s giving pub vibes but make it modern. A luxury boutique hotel that will never do you dirty and cares about the experience of each guest. I won’t blame you if you forget the rest of the itinerary.
Safety Notes
- Use licensed taxis or ride-share services.
- Share arrival details with a trusted contact.
- Familiarize yourself with nearby transit stations and emergency services.
December 23: Exploring Doctor Who’s London

- Make a trip to the Doctor Who shop and museum because they’re closed on Christmas and Boxing Day! Get your TARDIS pajamas so that you can celebrate Christmas morning in style!
- Don’t forget to take selfies with the Earl’s Court TARDIS!

LGBTQ+ Notes
- Soho is one of London’s most well-know LGBTQ+ neighborhoods, so there will be plenty of queer-friendly events and spaces
